So I haven't downloaded CS1 on my current device and I have played the first part of the game on my old laptop, but I'd like to replay the first chapter again before doing the hyena chapter. I only have CS2 downloaded on this laptop, but after I speak to Scratch for the first time (I did pick up the part that he ordered if that effects the issue) and I leave it immediately returns me to the start of the Haven map as if it skipped the boar chapter (guessing from the dialogue) and then when I go back to Scratch it tells me to take care of the hyena chapter. Basically, how do I not skip the boar chapter?

I missed this so much that I'm actually crying rn lol, I really developed a bond w these characters two years ago and like I know that since it's free we aren't entitled to it, but not seeing these characters in forever just really takes a chunk out of my heart.

I'm only on the title screen and am a bit scared to continue reading the story if I'll start feeling like I want even more.

I mean from what I recall he's 17 so it's not like he's completely clueless. He probably just wants his brother to use protection (and more or less just another one of monchi's gags).

I believe David's a minor, so no (he used to be but then they changed his age).

Excited, yet idk if it's just me but the sprites blinking and fidgeting kinda make it difficult (at least for me) to read the story and focus on the words. I don't know if it's like some kind of form of OCD or just ADHD but when you have four characters on screen all fidgeting it can get a little difficult to read the texts.

Damn, sucks cause it had a lot of potential. I know the developer was working on a bunch of stuff, but he never updated the game. He seemed pretty hellbent on finishing the entire thing before releasing it tho.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that, plus Lake does mention he likes two people. I mean I'm sure one of them is Arvo cause well y'know, and at first I was thinking maybe he's talking about Jorgen too, but then I can't help but think maybe it's actually Torulf. Although I will say with that conversation about polyamorous relationships I wouldn't be opposed if we're talking about Torulf >.> but I do like my lion boi.

Is this game cancelled?

Yeah the concept is interesting, granted I don't know how it'd play into the lore but it might be more interesting as a kind of place you can willingly go to explore (Minecraft Nether style kinda way)? And while you're exploring this area you have the creature chasing after you but you could probably find some interesting items there. Granted this is just my suggestion and may not work at all with the game.

It's alright but my main problem with it is the dark realm you go to when you die. It can be a bit frustrating having to spend 10min tryna find the portal, then spawning in a room full of enemies and then getting killed again 1 or 2 minutes while you're tryna get out. Maybe if there was something to help identify the walls? Cause of the controls it's a bit difficult to just keep to the wall, and this is without this supposed unadded entity chasing you.

Yeah after posting this I found the portal, teleported back where I died and as soon as I came back a bunch of dogs attacked and now I'm back in the dark realm.

Minor Spoiler

"Alright time to pick partners to share food with."

Me: Hm the otter boi be lookin-

Owen: "LUCY"

Me: Oh, I see how its gonna be

Might be an issue with the PC version then maybe?

Alright thanks

Yeah, I clicked the top one and it brought me to what i assumed was the "put character's name here" dialogue but it was just all blurred.

Anyone else having this issue where all the words are...blurred?

Luckily, they're going to make "Arches" which will be the sequel. The teasers have been showing the gay couple Devon and Cameron (the coyote and bear) that show up at the end of some of the routes. There's also the prequel "The Smoke Room" that's come a decent way but far from over itself.

This game has also inspired me to start writing horror myself, and it's amazing to think how this game has inspired and affected so many people. It's no arguement that the team of EchoProject is very talented with what they do, and I can't wait to see what's in store for the future.
